I'm a Jewish German-American that deals in import/export.
Most loyal are Burmese and Vietnamese. Go to factory, they will be very upfront about their items not being as high quality as someone elses, and will lose money to save face. Unfortunately it is very hard to get things out of Burma.
I would also say that Russia is a lot more loyal than you might expect. Very upfront about things that can and can not provide you with.
Most complicated and shitty places to do business is any country with a large muslim population. Was just in Tunisia. The lengths you have to go to, to protect yourself from being ripped off is astonishing. I knew someone in telecom in Tunisia in the late 90's, you couldn't build anything without 100 people demanding handouts and bribes, and then you would wake up the next morning and everything was stolen.
Laziest are probably Chinese and Indians.
Only time I have ever seriously been ripped off was by the Oyo government in Nigeria. Providing construction equipment.
