Question about patents in a science lab

Hello /biz/, the time has come when you seem to be the ones to ask

I work in a pharma lab at a university. I recently stumbled upon a patent, filed some years back by my boss and a couple other higher ups. I noticed some of the data on the patent is derived from my experiments from when I was a PhD student. I saw graphs made by me, for example.

So I want to know if this can benefit me somehow? Mind you, back when I did those experiments I barely knew what I was doing so I can't claim I was a genius whose life's work was stolen or something.
