Is there anything obviously stupid about this?

£15,240 (my 2015 ISA limit) via iWeb (flat £25 annum fee)

into Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF (GBP)

Yes. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. The S&P 500 is exclusively composed of U.S. large-cap stocks. For a long-term portfolio you should have exposure to mid-caps, small-caps, bonds, and non-U.S. investments.

Google "4 fund portfolio" and do that.

I don't want to be in bonds, this is a 15 yr + timeframe, I don't care about speed bumps

Maybe I should start with a 3-way split and continue forth
