I need help /biz/ on my future. I got lucky and have been working for a new hedge fund as their bitch analyst doing shit work for the past few years. I essentially answer emails all day for my bosses and do some minor excel work. I get paid about 25% lower than the other starting analysts but considering they know I'm not great at math, I suck it up.

The problem is I was actually a film student that graduated with a 2.99 GPA because I didn't care about the classes, just the connections. I don't know anything about finance or business. They for the most part never looked in to this because I transferred in to the job. I really want to progress in finance but I don't see how any business school would accept me with my educational record and prior degree type. I also don't know what type of future I could possibly have in my job if I don't at least learn the trade.

If I can get accepted to graduate school, should I? Should I just get certs for programming languages so I can try to be a better analyst? Do I do nothing? I want to exploit this money train while I still have the chance and I fear they are starting to realize I'm not one of them.
