>>939257Back when I was in school I would torrent them. Depends on your major really. I was CS so all of my cs general electives were nationally used science and math text books. As far as major courses it was a toss up between famous books you could find online and shit the professor published themselves.
Side note: unless they're giving assignments out of the book, you don't need the exact edition they mention. New additions are almost always small grammatical fixes and having all of the exercise numbers jumbled so it's impossible to follow along
Second note: the campus library might have a copy of the book you need. Check it out, photo copy the pages your need and turn it back in. If they don't, just borrow it from some cuck that bought the book.
$600+ a semester on books every year for 4+ years adds up. Don't bend over for it.
