Someone making 1000 times the average salary does not buy 1000 times more shoes, meals out, new cars, ect. While they do buy nice things those nice things don't cost 1000 times more than the standard.

With a few exceptions the people at the bottom are horrible with money. Rather than saving their surplus they blow it on goods and services. The people at the top still get their cut, so does everyone else below them.

I know a few business owners who go all out and only take out what they need to live. Everything else is put back into the company to grow it. If it works out they can grow their "investment" far faster.

Because they aren't making themselves better off financially. They are consuming all of their new income. You can still be a poorfag and have debts with $70k coming in. And also, look, the CEO is struggling to keep it going. Now none of them may have jobs at all.
