I have both of these.
Both led to me dropping out of university.
Both led me to wanting to end myself, a lot.
Things get better when you force yourself to do things you're not comfortable with. I can say with confidence that right now I am at a better place mentally than I was 6 years ago. I am still depressed. I still want to end myself every once and a while. I still encounter some social anxiety in the right(wrong) situation. But I deal with it.
And I suggest you deal with it. No one but you can help your situation. Or, get heavily medicated, which works until it doesn't.
