In order to become a real estate agent in America, the exam has to be passed, but in order to take said exam do you have to have done any university courses or have any qualifications?

You can do them online. Supposedly the courses are university level courses though.

Seems like you'd make guap and don't need education or any skills.

It's not even really a "sales" job per say since you're just presenting the houses to them and they're already interested in purchasing vs convincing people to buy a car or something.

The brokerage doesn't give 2 shits if you succeed or not, it's all up to you.

No, it's actually not like that at all. Unless you become a listing agent, you will not make it. In order to get a majority of your biz from listings, you need to have a knack for marketing, a flawless lead capture system, excellent online presence, basically everything that a fully-functional business should have.

or you could just become an agent yourself and not be part of the Realtor brand.
Its just a permission form with limited power of attorney or agency.
You get more training to cut hair than be a realtor.
