Selling clothing to US from Canada

I've been thinking about this, and was wondering what everyone thought about selling designer clothing. Seeing as how weak the Canadian dollar was, wouldn't it be viable to buy items in Canada and then sell them to people in the US? From what I've calculated it seems that I would still be making a profit while the customers in the US would be paying less than their retail. As an example, I could pay 1300CAD(988.07USD) before taxes for a pair of Rick Owen boots at Simons, while the same item is 1125USD at Ssense. Even if I was to add a 5% charge and $50USD for shipping such a heavy item, it would come to a cost of 1087.47USD. And for smaller items, the shipping cost would be lower, thus giving a bigger discount to the customer. Also Simons often has big sales where designer items go for up to 60% off the original price, and if I was to sell those items in a similar fashion, would it not be profitable to both sides? I feel this is viable but I'm wondering if you guys could see any complications I am not thinking of?
