Anyone else here do fall cleanup jobs on the weekend to make extra cash? I love this season for this.
Bought my Grandpa's 97 F-250 for $2200 this year. Last year I was working with my friend with his truck making a quarter of what I am making now.
I charge $100 if you fill the bed with leave bags and I will take it to the dump. I also charge $100 per 1/4 acre if you want me to rake and bag your leaves for you. I just hit the $2200 mark and everything is pure profit practically. Gas isn't costing me too much, maybe $20 or $25 a weekend since it's so cheap right now.
I am undercutting everyone on craigslist by at least $25, sometimes $50. However a lot of them have repeat yearly clients so they can get away with charging that much.
If anyone has questions about doing stuff like this for extra cash, I can try and answer them.
