I'm a male seller on etsy, and there is plenty of unisex things on etsy, but very few things that target men specifically.

You don't have to be male to sell menswear, though. There's a shitload of accessories for men on etsy--watches, ties, cufflinks, messenger bags, wallets, phone cases, etc. Loads, actually, and a lot of nerdy shit/alt fashion stuff. So neckbeards have a plethora of comics book hoodies but less...dress shirts and pants, but do you need etsy for that?

Advertise, I guess? Etsy's super well known and actively advertises products, but you're kinda on your own with Storenvy. Online followers and interesting products seem to do well.

Different anon but at least with Storenvy you don't need to put in any credit card info in order to open a store and they got paypal payments back.

Would people still go for quirky printed skater dresses or leggings (or swimwear even though winter is coming)? Like galaxy print, fish scales, kittens, hamburgers. Etsy listings are about $50 a dress, and $25-30 leggings, and I think that sounds profitable/worth the effort. Would buy or regret?

What do you guys think about a Storenvy shop selling Taobao/Jfashion/Cosplay stuff that isn't extremely marked up? Talking about $15-30 for wigs (depending on quality and length) and about $10-30 for clothes/accessories and that's all with shipping included. And it's USA based, already have items in stock, not that "Pay me now and you'll get you item in 20-30 days" bullshit.

Or is Storenvy just oversaturated with resellers as it is? I resell a lot on Facebook but I've been wanting to cut out the hassle and make a proper shop for a while.

Thanks for the response anon! I do ship pretty quick, next day (aside from weekends) and it's always First Class 2-5 day or Priority 1-3 day, depending on weight.

Guess I need to stock up on stuff then that isn't already being sold out the ass. Poor tattoo tight craze, can't even give them away at this point.

If you priced down some of the actual clothing (the many Not-Liza Lisa But Almost Liz Lisa replicas) you might even get to keep accessories and tights at a normalish price. I see some storenvies go nuts by charging $15+ for tights, berets, and hair accessories, but a lot keep them cheapish. If you had good prices on clothing, I'd throw accessories that were $5-10 dollars in my cart, even if a lot of other sellers had them.

True. I've just had rotten luck selling tights in the past and when I got a couple in the Bodyline sale for cheap it took over a month to sell three pairs and that was with them being priced $5 with free shipping. I haven't stocked them since.

I'll see what I can do though anon. I've already got some Jfashion clothes on hand and a few wigs and generic kawaii stuff. Just need to work on a store front and get more stock.
