>>8675813Pretty good. Vendors got a bit slow (I was helping with a table) after around 3pm, but the con also seemed emptier/slower. Everyone was nice and polite. It was a bit hard to find staff (they seemed to have too few people overall) but those we interacted with were very nice.
Cosplay was good. Some really nice stuff, some really "my first con" stuff. You can see London doesn't quite have the same level of experience with cons as another city closer to Toronto might. There were a lot of "I will stand in everyone's way" etiquette issues and NO ONE was enforcing any kind of "no photography in the dealer's room" policy if one existed (SRSLY PEOPLE, DON'T POSE IN THE DEALER'S ROOM).
With the exception of the Costume Contest and one panel on how to make games, most panels were underattended pretty badly. I think they need to do a lot more with signage and schedules and keeping people informed. But I also got the sense that it was a lot of first-timers and families going, so content wasn't as big or as known a priority as shopping and seeing the costumes.
But I had a good time. Would go again.
