can you prove that? it makes absolutely no sense that her gem would be on her visor when every single other gem has their gem connected to their skin.

While it could make sense; her eyes kinda disprove that theory. But I can understand why given she's never acted like its a visor (removing it, adjusting) but at least they're trying to understand how it works I guess?

I am 99% sure her gem is just clipping through her visor. With gems being made of projected light, their clothing doesn't actually need to be tangible and her visor regenerated with her so like Garnet's visor it's technically a part of her body.

wait sorry, i didnt read all of thay through before i replied. being tired on here isnt good haha
but i meant to say that since the visor is part of her projection,she could just put her gem on top of her visor. i dont have the caps on me right now, but this isnt the first time theyve shown her gem to be on top of her visor

I really don't think that it's on top of her visor, it's just that on her forehead the visor is flush against her skin. Her skin covers the facets on her gem and the curved bit sticks out beyond the visor.

then i feel its a terrible design choice. it doesn't make sense that her gem wouldn't be attached to her skin like literally every other gem we've seen.
now i'm desperate for an episode where peridot takes off her visor, or maybe its explained that the visor doesn't come off.
still tbh the gem being on the visor looks really dumb, and i have not seen a good peridot cosplay that has the gem on the visor. it's a really hard thing to translate to a cosplay because of how hard it is to make a visor that is as close to your skin as hers is.

I really like the shape of this wig base so far. I feel like if she lays the fibers right it could be the best Peri wig. The rest of the costume looks like a sloppy mess but I like that 'wig' shape and the contours is has going on.

I was gonna, but Sapphire doesn't have eyelashes in canon and it looked much more uncanny without them so I decided against it.

This would make sense considering the school concept they threw out recently for advertisement. Peri has her gem and reading glasses on. I might try and design the visor with the hole now you've mentioned this. Thank you common sense anon.

On that note; which colour tint would be best for the visor? I think yellow and lime green look silly considering its white in the show. I'm going to try transparent worbla to see how it goes. But I've also come across a local store that does thin acrylic in an opal colour that allows some transparency.

The one on the right is really nice if she didn't have those weird strands dangling from her wig, she covered up her tattoo and removed the bracelets on that arm, and had a better gem. Other than that she's pretty good.

In her defence, the thick black bracelet looks like a con wristband (all the other cosplayers are also wearing a pink or black band). I agree with your other points, though - those dangling wig strands really bother me.
