I hear ya. I love me some basic bitch coords. I just missed out during the years of pushing lolita into decora territory. But I do see some girls still doing that in Japan. So westerners are gonna do whatever, I'd rather keep up with the trends over there.

I'd change out the shoes and tights. Brown oxfords and simple lace beige tights would go better IMO. TBH I don't see the book purse going too well with the JSK either.

I like the simple tiara. It's nice but it doesn't clash with simplicity of the rest of the coordinate like the cheap bodyline shoes do.

It's not a terrible corset, but a) she's used it in her past three coords, and b) it doesn't really look good with any of the dresses she's put it because it kills the skirts.

Nitpick, the floppy hat sucks and the shoes are too punk looking for this kind of jsk, loafers with heels or not would be more appropriate maybe.
The socks fit nicely but the shoes ruin everything.

I'm a goth and I also agree that the makeup is shit. She solidly blacked out her eyes with no blending or gradient and didn't color in her eyebrows. If she mixed lighter tones in the eyeshadow with the black and blended, it would be just as goth and just as much makeup, but would look less heavy and would have a better overall look. Seeing her blonde-ass eyebrows under that heavy black wig bothers me to no end; at least keep it consistent and if you're going to try and go all out on makeup, then at least make sure you hit all vital points of it.

Carson here, my younger sister did my makeup. I will give her your guys' advice, She's still learning and had only done gothic makeup once before, and I will ditch the black lipstick.
