LOL. What do you think is actually gonna happen? We'd probably just post them on cgl and bitch about them, same as we do the other girls we post on cgl. No one's booted girlyhoot or that Shiri chick or that other girl from their comms, no one's splashing paint on their burando, no one's gonna write letters of complaints to their parents/employees or whatever.

No one's actually going to bully them, duh.

But I do expect any lolita that posts an AM coord is going to get discussed on here, if she made any posts on AM previously, this will be examined to ascertain if she's a hypocrite who is hungry after e-fame or was somehow living under a rock, and then whatever she posts after that will always be looked at askance because people will suspect she has no morals. That is what I interpreted "calling out" to mean.

Most of us are not going to go out of our way to harass people for not having the same moral alignment, no actual bullying is ever going to happen. But you can't expect us to coddle or support people who morals we don't respect. We're going to judge them, and because this is cgl, we're certainly going to bitch about them.

However wouldn't it make sense to also, boycott these brands since they too are supporting AM?

Ted Smith is the man, while his edit is in the videos are weird his style is so damned helpful.

I have at least one dress that's too short for it, I deal with that by folding the waistband down towards the skirt. It is a bit of a pain to keep checking that the waistband hasn't unrolled itself throughout the day. That's probably my biggest gripe with it. Other than that it does the job fine, holds up the Infanta underskirt all right, although it is starting to deflate a little.

I should note that what I have is the original one that they sold circa 2011. I think they're reusing the same stock photos, so it's probably the same, I guess?

Those shoes are adorable but they do look too white to me even just in your collage. Bummer. I think this could be super cute with some brown shoes, either cabriolet like you have posted or even some cute lace up brown heeled oxfords. You could pick up a cute brown bag with gold accents, keep the wine socks, bolero and accessories and have a super cute coord.

I also think the blouse will be really adorable with this JSK, you could always pick that up and experiment with coording the JSK with other colors too.

Are you trying to coord this ETC as lolita or as otome? Because depending on what you want you should do different things.

For an otome coord I'd look into some brown shoes, use yellow in the tights, and get a cardigan in either the pink or yellow from the dress. Do a beret or a hairbow, something more mature looking than an alice bow though, again in pink or yellow. Add accessories until it feels complete, not too many.

For lolita I'd go with the purple shoes, pink or pink and white socks, either the pink or the white blouse, and a cute headbow in purple x yellow. Stick as much petti as you can under the skirt to get poof.

Just some general advice, take a look over at the otome thread >>8658835for ideas on how to coord in a more "otome" way.

I ordered pic related on the 23rd of September and got shipping notification on the 29th. The seller has a 100% positive feed back but it's been a month and I still haven't received the doll, should I use their seller guarantee and ask for my money back since it's been over 30 days ?

Well, I would take a look at the item's processing time, and shipping time. If the processing time says 2-14 days and it shipped before the 14th day, they are ok. If the shipping time is 15-40 days, that's separate. You would add the longest possible processing time and the longest possible shipping time together and that's the length you must wait before you can get a refund. Either that or before your buyer's protection expires. Aliexpress is generally 60 days.

I would put a list of things to NOT buy from AE in the spreadsheet.
Electronics, sex toys, cosmetics, lighters, chemical products, and to be very, very, wary of jewelry, especially anything piercing, as there is a chance it will contain lead.
And to remind people that this isn't the same as buying those products from normie stores because there are no regulations and usually very little quality on them here.
And then things generally safe to buy from AE but to remember that you usually get what you pay for such as pretty much anything made out of cloth, shorter (<12) human hair (i've bought this from AE several times with good luck), false eyelashes, glass (since lead glass is heavy and expensive its usually safe to buy glass stuff but be wary of it breaking), home decor, basically anything that won't go into your body or has electronic parts.
There's also some taobao shops that have AE storefronts (ex: infanta) we could put in the spreadsheet, and some like house of novelty with good reputations that carry cute stuff

Thanks, I just finished it yesterday. I intend to keep it, although I still don't know where I will use it - it either doesn't fit my existing characters that much or would be unviable for the location of the larp (too many enclosed spaces, for example). But SOON.

What kind of foam do you use for making it? I try to make my own weapons, but I end up with boffer blades 8-9 cm wide in order to have enough padding, and then I can't properly sheathe them.

Just... foam. The only kind readily available in Hungary, basically camping mat foam (although we do have EVA foam but of the way harder variety). Not the best solution ever, but it works and it's available. The blade is about 4cm wide (8mm rod + leather reinforcement + 2x15mm foam) just before the tip curves into a point (coming down from about 80mm at the top of the ricasso where I have three rods in parallel plus foam), and 30mm thick (3x10mm layers of foam) at the spine. The core is constructed in a way similarly to the pic I posted, I found this to be the optimal solution to not make it wobbly while not making it too thick with the materials available - then again, only 8mm fiberglass rods available, a carbon or hybrid rectangular would probably work way better, hell, even a 10x15mm rectangular fiberglass rod would mean a lot.

Anyways, these solutios won't neccessarily transfer well to the larps you play - in some american larps or battlegames they are explicitly forbidden.
