My mail from a few threads ago arrived. Sadly I have no camera but I can give a verbal review of these two dresses.

Doris Night: Sailor Era JSK: Really surprised, the fabric is a very nice thick matt chiffony like texture, a little see through but seems really strong but light. The gold lace is really thick/metallic. I got it in the black, its bigger than advertised so its a little roomy specially under the arms it gapes a bit. Came with extra set of waist ties for some reason.

Elena Garden: Sailing to the Wondeland: I got this custom sized, and the size is perfect, the length and everything I asked for spot on. The black to white fade on the fabric is much more subtle, and more of a grey to lighter grey, but the dresses fabric is nice and soft. The main gripe I have with this is the top layer of the skirt section, its a sperate piece that wraps around/tie on over the top of the dress itself, and its a really thick shiney easily creased poorly sewn mess. Im not sure what to call the fabric but its the thick stuff used for petticoats.
luckily its not attached, Im opting to make my own replacement.

I'm still waiting on my Bodyline order from the birthday sale, and I'm starting to get really nervous since it's not here yet. I'm very new to lolita, so I've never had a package that's taken this long to get here. The tracking still says it's in Tokyo, and when I contacted Bodyline they were like "That tracking's all you got, we can't help you."

So I bought something on Aliexpress in July and it still hasn't arrived. I wasked the seller for more protection time and they denied it, saying "dear time is over , after 4 days not arrive , please notice me ,ok ?"

What does that even mean?

The tracking number used to say it's in my country, but ended up expiring and I can't even check now. Not sure if it will arrive.

Should I ask for a refund? I feel sorry for the seller, but it was expensive.

Yeah, I sent them a reply ASAP asking if "Ireland" was just a typo with screenshots of the shipping address I put in + paypal address used to prove that the shipping address should be in the US.

The tracking number provided says it was already deposited to their post office, so here's hoping they just made an error in the email and not in the actual shipping address.

How long does it take to have a package returned in the US?
I sent out a package to a girl across the country and she gave me her address wrong, so USPS has updated it to "Undeliverable as addressed, being returned" for over a week now. It should come back to me, right? What's the longest I should wait for the package to be returned?

Just got off the phone with USPS, they said that I need to contact Bodyline and that Bodyline has to fill out a form to start an inquiry, as all inquiries must be started from the country of origin. I'm assuming I'm just never going to get the package since Bodyline does fuck all for customer service.

Ugh. Well, it might be worth a shot just to contact them. Mine got stuck in New York for nearly two weeks but when I called to complain about it, they told me the same thing and it ended up leaving New York the next day.

I found out what the issue was. Ebay's package tracker isn't working. My October 16th package on Ebay still says it's in ISC New York but when I track it via the USPS site it says it's out for delivery today.

Thank you for the advice, I actually found an old livejournal post about DHL vs EMS in my country (UK) and discovered that EMS over here means Parcelforce, which are the absolutely most shit. They left my brother's piano stool behind a bush in the field next to our house, didn't tell us, and it was there for 2 months before a neighbour found it (their dog had just pissed on it and everything). I can't really wait so I'm going for DHL and will risk customs rather than bush + dog piss combo.

I don't know if anyone cares, but sometimes I see people asking around about granny boots. These are "victorian 35" boots from Funtasma. They're just costume shoes I think, but I just got them today and they're actually pretty nice. I would definitely get from Amazon though from any of the places that have them on sale, or any other seller that has them for under $40 since even though I like them, I wouldn't pay any more than that for them. When they came out of the box I thought they might be slightly too small or a bit uncomfortable but I tried them on and they feel great. I'll have to see if they remain comfortable after wearing them for a long period of time but from some of the reviews on Amazon other people seem to say they remain pretty comfortable as well.

So if you guys are looking for a cheap pair of victorian/grandma type boots, here you go. They also sell them in a slightly longer style (victorian 120 boot) and one where the front part of the boot that goes up your leg is pointed and the body has like lace on it called Dame-115. I've seen a handful of people use the gold ones in CDC coords, though the lace is a bit cheap-looking.

Got mostly everything on this picture. I'm really happy with it. Anon who asked for review on the choker or the navy headbow (I think) - the choker is pretty well made and looks like the picture, I really like it. The headbow is stunning but sadly doesn't match CDC as it's a little lighter than CDC's navy.
The grey IW OP is actually the Lila JSK, not the Sarafena, though I've probably spelt it wrong. It feels and looks amazing, and fits so well. I'm really pleased with it.

It will be made custom to your measurements and there are a few things you can tweak like the lace and the buttons. Right now I believe it's $90 USD + $30 shipping to USA if bought directly from their shop in Vietnam. But I've seen these go on the secondhand market for less expensive.
I've been eyeing the ver 2 but put it off since there aren't many reputable reviews and because it's always available to buy. I second that review please!

Should probably mention that the measurements for bust and waist for L are 90 and 72 and for XL 94 and 76. I fluctuate between 86-89 cm and 68-70 cm. Last time I sized up it looked frumpy but I'm scared maybe it will have a small ribcage area too.
