I don't really have a problem with it, it's how she chooses to personify herself and her gothic look which is perfectly acceptable. I just wish her wig matched her bangs, and I'm not too sure about the tights, they seem a bit sports jersey.

Normally I would agree with you, but it seems like she might be wearing thermal tights. It was pretty cold in the northeast today, and after a certain point keeping warm kinda takes precedent over looking kawaii. I'm sure there's other less jersey-looking grey thermal tights but idk maybe that's just what she had.

It doesn't work with classic, but she seems to be a Tumblrtard who doesn't want to bother making her hair and makeup match. There's nothing gothic in the outfit. The blouse could work in a gothic coord but it's primarily classic. The choker looks period inspired and more rococo than Victorian gothic. Nothing else comes close. As people used to say, imagine the coord in white. Does it look gothic to you? No? Then it never was. It's not that hard.

Only certain girls who never wear lolita outside of meet ups and cons do that. I think the print features both chipmunks and squirrels. The literal translation of the Japanese name is "Little Citizen of the Forest", so Meta probably just picked the animal they thought customers would like the most for the english name.

It would only sit this way on someone who has a narrow torso and a B-cup. Someone who is broader up top (be it bone structure and/or body fat) and with larger cup sizes it's going to sit higher. Even when I was close to my ideal weight, nothing naturally sat near my waistline and I have a short torso! I always have to push the girls up somehow to avoid that boobloaf look. Now that I've put on weight, it's a nightmare. I barely wear anything without a bolero right now.

Agreed. My hair used to be long, though not as long as hers. Mine was about down to my bum and I found it really hard to maintain, and as I got older, like last couple years of high school, when I got into hair maintenance, found it was hella expensive and time consuming if I wanted to make it look nice. I suppose if you're someone who wants to put the effort in that's fine but it just became too much for the routine I was developing. Perhaps I'll try again some day but I cut it into a bob and it's 10x easier to maintain and keep looking really nice. I do give this girl props though - with how annoying long hair maintenance is hers looks really luxurious.

Help me out, gulls... why do girls wear lolita to amusement parks? I've seen a ton posted in these threads and all I can think is how potentially dirty your dress can get wearing it out to a place like that. Not to mention how tiring it would be to walk around like that all day... I always wear super comfy stuff when I go to amusement parks. I guess they don't get on rides or anything, especially with those wigs and headbows. Doesn't sound fun to me.

Wigs can be pinned and headbows can be taken off. Besides you make it sound like all rides are fast pased. At Disneyland at least there are a lot of slower rides that aren't going to knock your hat off(like the haunted mansion and jungle cruise for example)

besides, and well pinned wig won't come off. I managed to ride California Screaming with a wig on. It's not impossible.

Also I've been to theme parks and didn't get my clothing dirty while there.

A lot of kids and/or adults don't go on rides when they go to disney either. My dad's wife (divorced parents) never went to any hardcore rides, she would just chill on the easygoing ones. Also if you never went to disney, the vast majority of the rides are very mild. Stuff like Everest and Space Mountain are a tiny minority. If you havdpictures of lolitas going to bush gardens or universal studios though, I would understand.

I think it's stupid to wear lolita to theme parks too. You can look cute and still wear something more functional. I start feeling uncomfortable after like an hour or two just doing errands in lolita, can't imagine going to a theme park and spending like 12 hours in it

Universal has quite a few rides where you get hit with at least a bit of water as a part of the experience (ie: "4D" rides, the studio lot tour, etc.). Other than that, no. Not too hardcore.
