>>7021809There's a place in Cairns called Tjapukai where they grill you up a pretty sweet bush tucker lunch of roo, emu, barramundi and croc seasoned with bush herbs and quandong and stuff. Plus witchetty grubs and various nuts and odds and ends. There's also a place called Ochre in the city that does a more contemporary take on a lot of local and native ingredients.
Witchetty grubs are actually excellent if you grill them. Wallaby is fucking stupendous and blows kangaroo out of the water.
