There's just no real point to it. For the amount of effort and energy and money you have to put into getting distilled water only to add your minerals back into it, you could have just gotten twice the amount of mineral water.

I mean, if you are an engineering autist and enjoy the process of putting it all together yourself to exacting detail then I'd argue that the psychological benefit is worth it, but otherwise, no.

I forced myself to eat healthy during the week and restricted my caloric intake. Weekend were cheat days. On cheat days I would make burgers or other common tasty food. One year later I still have cheat days but the urge to eat ''trash'' food disappeared and now I crave more of the supposed boring food, rice, beans, vegetables and lean meat without the caloric restriction.

If you are poor you must eat rice and beans every meal you won't believe how cheap they are.
