>>7014982Nah, he's right. I had a few other experiences like the house of many people afterwards because I didn't put my foot down early enough and shit got out of hand.
As much as it's nice to think that most people are clean enough to not neglect the basics like dishes and trash, they just don't.
I now live with a house with three guys. One is like 30ish with a kid(who doesn't live here), another that's late 20s, and the third I have no idea. They're all filthy. I moved in to save a good 600 a month. Wasn't worth. I've had wave of bugs and more bugs.
>see moths in kitchen.>look inside my dry pasta box and find webs. Get pissed.>tell roommates that there are moths and stuff needs to be cleaned out. I moved in where they already lived here. I don't know who's stuff belongs to who.>two weeks go by. All my food has already been separated and stored in containers in the garage instead of the kitchen.>I cook food and eat like I'm in a prison.>abandon ship at night because I can't stand sleeping with moths.>moths EVERYWHERE.>I get pissed and start throwing out things at random.>dressing allahu ackbar so I don't get moths in mouth.>guests who come over to visit roommates get grossed out.>roommates finally get bombs and traps and remove the things.>After bomb has been done, shit sits on the floor of the kitchen for two months. I am not touching it since I'm leaving at the end of the lease and it's their shit.>still keeping things in the garage separated from theirs.Their shit habits attracted tons of flies, fruit flies, and carpet beetles.
