No it has to do with McDonalds jacking up the prices of their food during the beef price crisis and now they're nearing the prices of the premium burger franchises. People don't mind buying real food for a couple cents extra.

They've fucked themselves by going for the short term profit grab. Now they're facing an existential crisis due to poor long term planning.
