To be fair, licorice root is pretty damn sweet as well. Plus quite different in flavor; most 'licorice' isn't flavored with licorice root at all but rather with anise seed and/or star anise.

i have a nice tarragon plant out in the garden, some days ill go out there, grab a bunch of the little leaves, then gram a few stevia leaves and chew em up real good in my front teeth, extracting the oils and flavors, and guess what it tastes like.
