So I just made my first batch of pastry roses, but I'm finding the puff pastry is kind of doughy and almost raw tasting in the middle. I don't mind it, but I worry my sweetie would notice and think ill of me. How do I avoid this for next time?

I don't know shit about cooking but I know how to avoid a problem, so you're golden if your foods shit.

I'd consider sprinkling some cinnamon on them, maybe dress with custard or put some cream in them somewere.

They look nice but I don't eat with my eyes, I want things that pair with apples not just apples.

There is cinnamon in the recipe, unless I linked the wrong Youtube video..

Custard doesnt stop the inner layers being doughy though. Thanks anyway, might make custard just for me to eat though.
