first of all the healthcare system was not as bad as the false narrative obama was pushing would have you believe. Only 1/9 of americans were uninsured, and that number includes illegal immigrants (who we shouldn't be providing care for period), moneyed people that are willing to pay out of pocket for healthcare if needed, and irresponsible young people that choose to not have insurance because they are stupid.
second a major factor in the cost is that doctors are required to pay for government mandated malpractice insurance costing on average 50k a year. which means earning 50k (after taxes) a year will net a doctor $0 of income.
third is because of the FDA specifically which is in bed with big pharma and stops generic versions of popular medication from being publicly available.
as far as education goes its a similar problem. People used to be able to put themselves through college with a part time job, this is now impossible thanks to government interference. Banks can not deny someone for student loans, and the colleges know this. Since they know students will be able to get the money from a loan no matter the cost the universities have jacked up their prices to unreasonable levels in order to gouge more money out of the guaranteed loans.
basically what I'm saying is the US government is incompetent at best, and irredeemably corrupt at worst, and people shouldn't trust them to run any part of their lives. The more you keep uncle sam out of your business the better off you will be.
