I usually go for low heat for a longer time. Maybe crank it up all the way at the end to get it crispy.

Here's a better idea.

Butterfly your chicken and lay it skin side up on top of your roasting vegetables.

Carving the chicken will be easier at the end and you have delicious vegetables roasted in chicken fat and juices.
