You need to be pro-active about these things. You live in Australia so there is literally no reason for you to not have food. Food banks, donations, the equivalent of Australian food stamps. Just get on that shit. There's nothing to feel ashamed about for asking for help, there's plenty to be ashamed about for spamming bitcoin wallets on my favorite 4chan board.

Don't know where you are, but here in Sweden it's very common at larger supermarkets with these handheld scanners that you scan all the barcodes with, if you buy more than one of an item you just scan it once for every item. Then you just check out at a self-serve station, pay and leave. Makes it really easy to just pack stuff and not scan it.

Never stole anything myself using this method, but everytime I use one of those scanners and go to pay it hits me how damn easy it would be to lift. Get caught and you're fucked though, so not entirely risk free. Pretty damn trashy too, but if you're extremely poor I guess it's something.
