This generation isn't going to reduce its meat consumption. Too set in its ways and would consider it a personal defeat to do so. Just like with smokers it'll take a few generations.

Like the meat industry you're pretending that in first world countries where carcinogens are strictly regulated and smoking rates are lower the high prevelance of cancer is a statistical oddity. Nothing to do with diet.
Eat bacon if you want. Just like people smoke despite knowing the risks. But don't pretend that you're not taking a risk or that everything causes cancer xD
