you don't necessarily have to boil your lasagna noodles.

just dump the dry noodles in your baking dish, cover with plenty of sauce, and they'll soften as they bake.

One of mine I call "Mercury Beans":
Take one large can of Bush's baked beans (the varietal you prefer)
Heat in saucepan over low heat.for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add one cup of shredded cheese of your choosing
Stir to combine, set aside
Chop a quarter of a sweet onion and stir into the beans
Top with a dollop of sour cream and wa la
Mercury beans.

Chicken Adobo

Put the following into a container
>500g of chicken, any parts (I like drumsticks, wings, thighs) with skin
>60ml dark soy sauce
>45ml white vinegar
>15ml sugar
>4 bay leaves
>4 garlic cloves, minced
>Black pepper

Refrigerate overnight

The next day
>Put 60ml water into a pot and bring to a simmer
>Empty the container into the pot
>Cover & simmer for 15 minutes
>Flip all the chicken pieces and spoon the sauce over them
>Cover and cook for 15 more minutes
>Serve over rice

So fucking good. Also, it keeps for like 7 days with no discernible decline in quality, so you can multiply this recipe and make a big batch for a week's dinners.

Salmon and rice. Rub some butter into that shit, wrap it up in tin foil and throw it in the oven for 30 minutes. Then throw some rice into a pan and leave it for 20. Come back, throw on a plate, done. Takes less effort than cooking noodles because you have to stir those fuckers every 20 seconds.

My friend taught me this one it's called Mexican Pancake:

-Fry tortilla in hot oil
-when you do your first flip add 1 scrambled egg on top. (try not to let it run to much off the tortilla. with your spatch)

Simple "lazy" pizza.

Take sliced bread, or whatever half decent bread you have around (I usually use baguette ), then cover it in pizza sauce, or even pasta sauce. If you don't have either, a decent salsa works good enough. Then throw whatever cheese you have on there, ideally cheddar or mozzarella. The latter is good enough as is but I usually like to add green peppers, olives, tomatoes, onion, mushroom, salami, turkey, or whatever else I have left over.

Pop it in the oven at 450F for 8-10 minutes. It's a tasty way to use leftover and ensure nothing goes to waste.

1 lb of red beans
pick over them to remove tiny rocks, etc
put in big pot, cover by 1" with water. Let it sit overnight/18 hrs
Drain the beans, do not save the soaking water
Add more water to cover by 1", add one smoked ham hock, one quartered onion, set it over low heat and leave it the fuck alone for a few hours. Once the beans are done adjust flavor, salt, spices, etc.

Make some rice.

Red beans and rice. Cheap, easy.

my wife has a "lazyman" recipe that is actually great. because it is so goddamn easy

preheat oven to 450

in a 9x13, dump a box of penne, jar of pasta sauce and an equal amount of water. cover with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes at 425. Take out, remove foil, add mozz to top and bake until cheese is melted.

It's very fucking easy.

Brown meat if you want, cook onions and garlic.

On a whole wheat tortilla spread 1/4 can of refried beans and add cheese. Add in veggies, fold and microwave for ~30 seconds on each side.

I had a brain flash recently while I was washing rice for my rice cooker, that I could put a few eggs in the steamer basket and have hardboiled/steamed eggs every time I make rice without any additional exertion.
