I started to get into sardines but then the brand I was eating, Brunswick I think, switched to a different fish type that was simply godawful, and I even tried to stomach through it for a time. I couldn't know if that was an unusual seasonal batch or permanent, and I couldn't financially continue on pursuing them, so my sardine interaction came to an unfortunate end.

Omega-3s are important, and present only in the fish, and so diluting them with cheap soya oil or some olive oil, all heavy in omega-6, is literal butchery. At that point half of the canned weight is from oil and/or sauce, with barely a hint of the original sardines. Might as well buy fish powder and mix it with oil.

Always either didn't like canned fish other than tuna or salmon, or had to process them in to a patty with shitloads of spices or something to even use them.

Went out and bought some King Oscar sardines in olive oil, had one or two on their own and the rest went on to a sandwich with some blue cheese and pepper, fakkin delicious.

Supposedly, that process adds flavor to sardines.

That's the most retard thing I've heard in a while. Why don't you just ash a cigarette over an open can, then eat the sardines. Makes the same amount of sense to me.
