So /ck/, what can I do to expand my eating pallet?
I watch a lot of shows on tv around cooking, not that i sit down and watch it, but i always have some cooking show ON tv. The competitive stuff is really fun to watch, like chopped, where they take weird shit and make foods out of it.
I have a really hard time just thinking about "what can i add to make this better" or thinking about "what can this be added to", and i think it's because of my eating habits in regards to how picky I am. I'm not 100% picky, but in general I don't like a lot of fruits / veggies, outside of like corn or a banana. I never cook with them. I cook red meat 2-3 times a week, chicken / pasta or some other mix other wise. I never experiment with spices, because I don't know how. How can i get over my pickyness or how can i learn what would go well with things? Is there a trick to it?
Pic sorta related, it's a steak I got instructions from /ck/ how to cook (but i don't have a cast iron pan or non-stick pans so it didn't go perfect sadly)
