I grind my own beef and bake my own buns for burgers and they come out fantastic. My girl says that putting American cheese on really good ingredients cheapens the burger and that cheddar would be better. I completely disagree, American cheese makes a cheeseburger. She can put whatever she wants on hers when I'm done, but me, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions are just fine. Thoughts on cheese and your fav toppings on a burger?
