so i have a question, im fairly new to cooking, been NEET for 4 months and have enough savings to last another 8 or so.
so ive been cooking abit more and stocked up on a heap of dry spices and herbs. But i was wondering if their was a definative list of what each spice/herb is best used for?
i love putting nutmeg on my greens, after being blanched then put in a frying pan
and turmeric and garlic on my potatoes when making chips.
but for the most part, meats and veg just get random assortments of garlic, paprika, caynenne pepper, onion granules ect ect ... while a large group of my collection dont get used at all.
so yeah what do i do with my herbs and spices? also fresh herbs expire before i even get to use 10% of it, anyway to preserve them?
