Does anyone keep a thermal bag in your car for personal use? I picked up one at a chefs supply store for $25. It really works great keeping my pizzas and larger hot dinners warm on the ride home. It's too big to do much for burgers or burritos but I have a smaller colapsable I've been using.

It's barely hot enough when I eat it at the restaurant, probably not worth the expense. I just stick it under the broiler for a bit anyway.

Hell yes.

I worked a small mom and pop pizza place for years, but we only had like 6 of them, so I never 'borrowed' one.

Ended up quitting and working for a regional chain. We have like 30 of them.

You're damn straight I have one in my truck at all times. Every now and then I'll bring it in to make it look like I don't just keep them in my truck.

Usually end up making food before I leave for the night, so it helps to keep my food warm if I have to make a stop before going home.

At the same time, it works great for:

>Whataburger
>cold beer
>ice cream

I would actually buy one, especially for only $25, should I stop working in pizza.

Hugely increased my quality of life.

My was a bit cheaper. It was sitting all by itself in the back seat of a delivery driver's vehicle near Vanderbilt in Nashville.

About a year ago I ordered a pizza and the delivery driver forgot to take the thermal pizza holder thing.
I left it out on my porch in the same spot they did for a day, they never showed up to get their pizza holder.

I didn't really have much use for it though so I gave it to one of my roommates.

Sort of. I don't have a pro thermal bag, like a pizza bag, but I have a thermal insert for my ice chest, so I use that when I pick up food. Except for pizza, obviously. But, that doesn't really bother me, because when we get pizza, we get 28 inch pizzas from the awesome pizza place down the street.
