I am currently working for a brand new business and the owner/manager is a complete anus. So how do you feel about a bitch about work thread?

My story is this

The business is less than 3 months old and the owners have never worked in food or coffee before and have never owned a business before. They hired me on under the premise that I could "provide them with the knowledge and experience" that I had accrued over the last 8 years of work. Yet on a daily basis they lord over me and criticize what I am doing.

The latest thing was this.
I work with the female of the two in the kitchen and as we are very busy and understaffed we often swap roles in the middle of orders so the other person can fulfill some other task, whether it be making drinks, ringing people up or providing other customer services. During a casual conversation this manager said that she needs to retrain me on how to make burritos because she "always burns herself on the burrito ingredients" that I prep. So instead of asking me how I handle how fucking beans and meat she decides she needs to bust my balls with her "retraining".

Fuck these people.

For reference her "technique" for handling the hot ingredients is letting them sit to cool on the counter before folding them in to a burrito. Because, you know, people like to be served room temperature burritos.

I do a lot of barista work and had a duder order an espresso. While grinding the beans he leans WAY over the counter so he can watch what I am doing. I dose and tamp, and just as I am about to put the portafilter in to the machine he asks me "Could you tamp a little harder?" I asked him what his objective was with having me do that. He seemed completely at a loss as to what tamping harder would actually accomplish, so I tamped again, this time making a show of how hard I was tamping, and then pulled the shot. He cam back later that day to tell the managers that they lost a customer because I "yelled at him" when he requested I tamp again. Good riddance.

in the restaurant i work at the night staff is treated poorly in comparison to the morning staff and it rustles my jimmies on occasion.

The manager favors them heavily and always defends them when they neglect to fulfill their duties but constantly criticizes the work we do at night.

its not like this every day but at least 2-3 times a week

my old manager would always make them stay late if they didnt finish their responsibilities. The night crew has to stay late if we dont finish closing the kitchen on time. The morning guys need to stay late if they dont finish too. Even if i specifically tell them what i need before they leave they will just leave anyway

something kind of similar happened to my coworker and i thought it was funny. Some guy ordered a salad and complained that it didn't have any guacamole in it (mexican place). She explained that it didnt come on the salad and he has to specify that he wanted some. Then he got mad and yelled at her

I went on my lunch 15 minutes later and the guy started talking to me

then he complained to the manager that she was rude to him lol

some customers think anything other than "yes of course let me do that for your right away your highness" is being rude
