We have 4 grocery bags full of full-size candy bars.
I would have loved to make caramel corn to hand out, but I know it would just get thrown out, so I'm not even going to bother.
We've decorated the front yard in a metric shit ton of spider webs, and we have about 20 large, hairy spiders to attach, plus a bag full of small spiders to throw everywhere. We have a fog machine, the porch is lined in fake jungle vines, and we have an 8 ft. Inflatable spider on the roof. Plus jack-o-lanterns, of course.
We're dressing up as jungle explorers who've been bitten by poisonous spiders and turned into zombies. We have pith helmets and khaki explorer outfits, and I'm going to do our makeup and add fake spider bites, and I have a big, black, leggy spider to attach to my back, so I can ask the kids "Is there something on me? It feels like there's something on me!" :)

The only trick or treaters we get nowadays is large groups of Mexicans, but the fathers escorting them always try to peek into your home to see if there's any good shit to steal later when their kids are at your door.

That an 18 year old blacks who show up in normal clothes and ask for candy.

I'm leaving my lights off and watching a scary movie while munching on candy corn this Saturday.

I have always pretty much only liked chocolate candy. There's a few exceptions like smarties but for the most part anything chocolate is good in my book.
