>>77102881I have to agree, though I think a big part of that is that the show just hasn't quite found its footing yet. I also think a big part of it has to do with the premise of the show being less immediately understandable. "goofy sendup of spy flicks" is just more evocative than "goofy sendup of the 80's pastels and neon aesthetic."
I'm also just not sold on Rob Lowe. He's perfect as a nod to the 80's, but his line delivery just seems... off. In a way I can't quite put my finger on. I'm not huge on Will Forte either, but I think part of that is that the writers don't seem to have figured out what exactly to do with Rad yet. He's been growing on me, though.
