That would be hilarious because one of his animated appearances (some Avengers cartoon) specifically calls him a member of Brotherhood of Mutants. There can be mutants outside of X-Men, and there should be, because X-Men is only one aspect of the lore.

Also, the fact that they retconned twins, the first mutants / former terrorists to join the Avengers completely undermines and ruins not only the characters, but marvel's history

Although it is worth noting that while the retcon was obviously done because LOLFILMRIGHTS, it does give them the convenient out of never having to deal with the fact that the T-Mists are killing mutants. Otherwise, it wouldn't be safe for her to casually live in NYC.

yeah, in the past the attitude towards mutants was more logical. Most people were wary of the fact that mutant existed, obviously. Some were afraid, some politicians rode the fear for their own purpose, some hated mutants some were ok with them, some liked the idea of mutants, some even wanted to become mutants.
And the same went for other superpowered people.
Of course most mutants weren't heroes, and didn't have the support of the avengers, so they were vulnerable to whoever mught have had it in for them.
Theen they made it incredibly hamfisted.

I thought the whole deal with people hating mutants was that the X-gene represented a new sub-species of humanity that could potentially be an existential threat to homo sapiens sapiens, not a one-off case of someone getting powers. I mean, they keep going back to that Neanderthal/Cro Magnon comparison, so I assume that's what they mean by it.

All her bodily fluids would tasted like hazelnuts even if she was a normal person, the flavenols that create the taste and scent are pretty strong and don't get broken down by the body. This is why you can actually taste them in acorn feed pigs. For an real example go drink a bunch of hazelnut coffee then get a good wiff next time you urinate, you can smell it.

If she eats nuts all the time she tastes like them, a cosplayer could do it for authenticity if they really wanted. Yes, her breast milk would have a noticeable flavor before you ask.

The Mcguffinbot is only used for scare tactics, weather automated and awesome or manual and only kind of awesome. In a world where giant fucking robots existed everything would change. Building anything would be reduced to playing with Lincoln logs. They have sensors that can read the fucking genome for the "X- gene". Plug that into the FBI database and pick out all the criminals in the world. There's NO WAY they wouldn't start up a robot football league. I know they probably cost millions each, but if you were a billionaire you would fund a team. Charge 50k a seat and still sell out stadiums. And it would only take a criminal raid to get one of these before they hit up fort knox. Imagine if the mob got one of these and used it to hunt down a rat. The problem with introducing this crazy super tech is that it shows up for one story, and then just vanishes. They don't utilize it from story to story. Unless some kid finds one and learns to fix it by himself and then rides it around like a pony. A pony with miniguns on it.

This is nothing new, in the early-mid 90's when all things X-Men were huge Marvel made everyone out to be mutants.

All of a sudden
>Namor was a mutant,
>Spiderman was a latent mutant that had his x-gene activated by trauma and not really because of the spider.
>Fantastic Four and Hulk artificially activated their X-genes through radiation and traumatic life threatening experience.
>Captain America had his x-gene activated which is why the supersoldier could not be recreated in anyone else
>Daredevil was a regular old mutant that had his x-gene activated at puberty like everyone else, not because toxic waste

Basically any powers at all were really deep down latent x-genes that should have activated but didn't until they were in some life threatening situation or radiation activated it. The few remaining non-X fans were not happy with this and it was quietly ignored.

Well, Spider-Man isn't, but that's more the fault of J. Jonah Jameson (as well as Mysterio, the Chameleon, and others who have impersonated the wall-crawler) than anything else. This. Bendis gave her no origin at all. Just nonsense about who her father was. It didn't make any sense at all. Agents of Shield has plenty of problems, but by god they fixed her origin.

Falcon being a mutant idea predated ANAD X-Men
Cloak & Dagger's origins was supposed to be a mystery. Them being mutants was one of the option. However, they are still listed as mutants on marvel wiki, and I remember that there was some source claiming that C&D's genes were messed by D'Spair. But it doesn't really matter anymore.

What is the source for the rest of your claims, or did you pull it out of your ass?

A lot of assumptions were made by "fans", because in-story, none of that happened
