They then threw in an unnecessary romance subplot that took away attention from the actual feel (And fucked up a really good fight scene) and still managed to also fall for classic Toshiki Inoue misunderstandings.
Then the Next made a fucking awful Ju-on rip-off subplot for no reason other than WHY NOT when if they really wanted to do horror with Rider they could've just imitated the first twelve fucking episodes of the show, retconned everything about V3 that made him interesting, removed Riderman, and had even worse misunderstandings.
The only good thing in either films is that Ichimonji became bro of the year, all years.
