Would you say Archer is the only western cartoon with "fanservice"?

Finally got around to watching this. Great visuals, great atmosphere, lovely music, absolute rubbish writing and lackluster voice acting (Aside from Lloyd). Everyone reads in such a stilted way, rarely having actual fear in their voices. It feels like they tried to mix the "casual relaxed" feeling of a lot of modern toons (Adventure Time, Regular Show) but it doesn't work when the character is facing a horrific urban legend-type monster.

The dialogue comes across as your average Tumblr webcomic. Most of the humor comes from Greg who often times is worse than a Disney comic relief. Tension is presented and then instantly diluted within 30 seconds. And I know this is because the episodes are so short, but then why wait until the last minute to finally have the "scare" happen? Doesn't leave a lot of time to actually linger on it.

I enjoyed the old timey homages, but after awhile, it started to feel like they paid those more attention than the actual storytelling. Like, that was their "gimmick". I expected a lot from this show because everyone said it was beautiful and refreshing from what's on TV right now. Did they only mean visually? Because I'll agree then.

So I watched this movie because a guy in another thread was posting webms from it. The animation was nice and the story was interesting. The music was great. Overall, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

When I looked up some stuff about it, I realized the dude who made Fritz the Cat directed it. I haven't seen much else by him, is all his stuff this good?

Guys I don't want Detective Lance to die. I love him too much.

Is there actually an episode of Tom & Jerry with a "stinky alcoholic pedophile cousin", or is this guy talking out of his ass?

I remember there being one with Tom's cousin George, but he was merely afraid of everything, not stinky or alcoholic or a pedophile in any way. Maybe it's a Filmation short or something?
