I know for a fact I can make a couple hundred easy off this figure in five years so I don't think I'll modify the base, but I just may end up doing so.
Also, if anyone ever wants to buy a premium figure from sideshow, go with this curio cabinet its only $90. You CANNOT find any other doll or display cases for cheaper.
I went to 4 different companies for custom quotes on everything ..
-simple acrylic box with swing top
-found a company who makes glass boxes
-found a company who makes acrylic boxes to custom specifications with hinge tops, hinge backs and actual bases with mirror backs..
All of those options were $150-200 so this is definitely the way to go if you end up buying a figure larger than 19 or 20" tall..
Just figured I'd throw this out here, not sure if you guys collect statues..
