New information from Total Film magazine.
>The movie begins with the battle between Superman and Zod from Bruce Wayne's perspective as he attempts to rescue innocents trapped in one of his office buildings, but fails.
>Two years later, Wayne harbors resentment against Superman, whom he blames for the rampant destruction in Metropolis. Alfred Pennyworth is worried Wayne is losing touch with his humanity and tries to dissuade him from challenging Superman, but to no avail.
>Wayne and Lex Luthor have been holding fundraisers together to rebuild Metropolis. At one point, Wayne visits Luthor at LexCorp, where Luthor humilliates Wayne and dismisses him as a frivolous playboy. This, however, is part of a ruse by Wayne to evaluate LexCorp's security. Batman later breaks into the building and fights off Luthor's guards to steal Kryptonite to fight Superman.
>Batman functions as an antagonist for most of the movie.
>Batman relies on deception to fight Superman, while Superman is resolute to "fight fair".
>Wonder Woman is crucial to the plot, but her role is secret as it heavily involves the lead-ins to JUSTICE LEAGUE. Everyone praises Gal Gadot as the ideal choice as is customary of a movie's production blitz.
>There is a dead Robin, but they haven't yet revealed who he is.
