The research basically says about artificial sweeteners"it's fine in every way" unless you use/drink a truckload of it (i.e. the equivalent of like 6-7 2liters of diet pop a day, every day), and even then it's just "maybe it's no totally ok, we aren't sure".
Diet soda is still shit for your teeth though.
