MOS is better than the Donner one.

It is modular enough to be used in multiple settings.

Try having the donner theme in the background of the zod fight like you can with superman / zod (just superman's theme in minor)

The MoS theme doesn't really do anything for me, but the Donner theme is overrated. It's really only known by its opening segment. The rest of it is decidedly less noteworthy.

I'll bet if you played back parts of the Donner theme without the iconic opening, a lot of people wouldn't even recognize what it was.

I applaud MoS for ditching Donner's theme though. I'm tired of all this nostalgia shit that's been plaguing the market, at least the film tried to find its own identity.
