>>76931752>SequelTossup. Frozen's main downfall was godawful pacing, which I hear is from a troubled production. Frozen 2 could improve on the first, and be great by fixing 1's flaws, or it could be more of the same. Sequels are dicey, but Frozen is a better place to try than most of the other Disney movies. People liked the characters well enough, and there was a feeling the story wasn't over the way Rapunzel's is.
>Short?Nah. The song didn't do anything for me, though it was cute seeing Elsa trying to compensate for all the time they lost.
>Concept artNo, Anna and Elsa's final designs just look a lot better than most of them.
>2D vs 3DTie. Film was beautiful, but the sample animation was really good too. Would've liked it visually either way.
>SongsI feel people are hard on Frozen in this regard. I think it had good songs, the black marks were "Fixer-Upper" being one of the worst songs Disney's ever done and the lack of a villain song ("Love is an Open Door" doesn't count.)
>Villain ElsaProbably worse, although I do like redemption stories. Would be funny to see how often Elsa comes up in the "did nothing wrong" threads of that world's /co/.
>Hidden villainSuspected, questioned, then confirmed. Honestly thought it was well-done.
>TrollsFuck 'em. Pointless, tonally jarring waste of time that was already in too short a supply. "Fixer Upper" fucking sucked.
>Changes?Would probably have made Elsa the main character. Maybe gone for a kinda Lion King thing where she can't handle her powers as a kid, runs away to live by herself, has some adventures out there, but then needs to come back when Anna's in trouble and learn how to face herself and become the person her country and her little sister need rather than running away.
Smaller scale, make the movie slightly longer, remove trolls, more character development for Anna and Elsa. Kristoff friendship only, it's confusing their message.
