Then there was silly stuff like special move commands appearing as combat effects and dumb line like "no Burning Heat attacks indoors!".
As for the SF stuff, most stuff not written by Ken Siu-Chong feels really off, and having to force more recent character from the games into the comics as they were released sort of messed with the pacing and feel of the the stories. Then again, by the time the comic's events reached the SF2 story, it kinda felt a bit off.
Darkstalkers suffers from the fact that very few of its characters actually have canonical interactions with each other, so it's hard to find something of consequence and interest for the remaining characters to do.
This sort of thing really puts a dent in my far-fetched hopes for an SNK/King of Fighters comic...
