I'm fond of the jagged or un-smooth look to Kylo Ren's lightsaber.
While I like the hilt, I wouldn't want it.

That square power cell jutting from the hilt and the way it thins out near the blade emitter just bothers me.

I looks uncomfortable to hold, and the skinny bit makes it look like it'll snap in half in a duel

Respectively.

Personally white/silver has always been my favourite for two reasons, one being that it doesn't really owe any allegiance to either side of the force like yellow/orange, the other reason being that I've always seen the Force as an extension of ones will, it's only coloured by intention/feeling while manipulating it. So someone with a white lightsaber is implying they touch the force itself, without the veil of the light or dark sides to cloud it's pureness.

Haven't put a huge amount of thought into hilts though. Don't know why. I've always been a fan of the ones with wood integrated. Makes them feel a little cosier.

Because one color isn't enough for me, I have an inner core color, and an outer glow with a different hue.

I like Sheev's saber design, but given that I like flexibility and maneuverability in a sword fight, I gave it a curved hilt.
