Besides that, I think the film suffers for pandering too much to YA and some thing were better done in the comic, like the entire showdown at the end.

In conclusion, it was an entertaining film, but no game changer.

Not as bad as other Millarverse, but it has it's traits. I liked a few things better in the comic (like that training and the finale.)
Better in the film were the church scene obviously, but Sam Jackson was a better villain (the one in the comic is a joke), Colin Firth and the cinematography.
Overall, i think you get more entertainment out of the film.
