ITT: Alternate Takes on established characters.
I posted bits and pieces of this one before the other day but -

Character: Miles Morales

Story:
Alternate take on the character. He's around Peter's age when he gets bitten. He looks more like Judge - with decent amount of hair and glasses for a "meek" appearance. His vision is still impaired as the Spider that bit him was engineered differently.

As a 17-18 year old, he lives in Brookyln (where his school still is), got into the charter school by chance like before. Ganke's still his friend.

He's still present at Peter's last stand, but he accidentally shows off his powers when a car is thrown his way. Aunt May, Gwen, and MJ see him display his powers - but he's too distraught at seeing the villains up close to help Peter, he runs away.

This revelation, compounded with Peter's death, leaves them enraged when they discover Miles has become the new Spider-Man.

MJ and Gwen even go as for to berate him for his blind stupidity, ousting himself as:

1- A Spider-Themed target for disdain by the public, for having such bad taste regarding a dead hero.

2 - A target for elimination by Peter's remaining rogues.

3 - As well as a target for capture by Oscorp's rivals like Roxxon.

I've got more I could post, but i'll leave it at that.
