yes, and no

each season is like 51 episodes at 22 minutes each. so like 57 hoursish.

I just found savers better throughout. Because Frontier hits a really really bad slog that makes o2's fail to protect the stones arc look great by comparison.
and besides savers is basically marcus daimon fighting round the digiworld.

Not that guy but Frontier, by a lot of people standards was terrible because MUH POWER RANGERS. I personally liked the concept but how it was executed felt like a shit Adventure with two people having all the power and everyone else just being dead weight.

Savers is done "better" and if you ignore the characters, is pretty ok. Don't glance, touch, think, or mention the dub. Just prepare for a 14 year old punching out shit like Belphemon or whatever else digimon.

In the Adventure PSP game there's a Bonus Mission where Agumon and Taichi work with Hackmon to solve the mystery of a Digital Space they're stuck in. Hackmon learns what a partner is and basically says "TAICHI BECOME MY PARTNER" and Agumon gets flustered but Taichi doesn't say no Also all the other male leads get sucked into the Digital Space and help out, where you learn that it was Gankoomon (Hackmon's master) who called them all to resolve the situation.

The issue is that upon leaving that Digital Space, all their memories would be wiped along with the space disappearing.

But even lost memories won't stop the true partnership that will blossom as Taichi goes from being cucked to cucking.

Original as in he is Tai's digimon? Also, took me a moment to find out who the 2006 version was. I only saw up to the 4th series of Digimon when I was a kid. Never knew there was another series until years later and by then I wasn't interested, especially since it was in English and I was still trying to get a hang of the language.

Takato is having a fanboy freakout over meeting Taichi, Rika's trying to stay tsun and failing when she meets Sora, Mimi, and Kari, Jian and Koushiro have a meeting of the minds, and Kazu and Kenta have collapsed from burnout already,
Kouji and Matt try to out cool each other, Koichi and Ken find a kindred spirit in one another after Ken catches up with Ryo.
Daisuke and Masaru try to see who's more hotblooded, and maybe Tommy thinks Jian's little sister is cute or something?

No, it really wasn't. The first season, while a bit predictable and cheesy as fuck in the dub, still had a sort of charm to it and was easy to have a good time with in the same vein as Power Rangers. The second arc was just pure bullshit. Chris should have never been a protagonist to begin with. They were clearly trying to go for that Kaiba-like rival, but he was downright despicable most of the time, and the fact that Kudo kept sucking up to him just made him look even worse. And Nene was just...there. She just wasn't a character at all. To make it worse the dub dipped in quality severely, but it was the absolutely pants-on head retarded plot that made me drop it halfway through. It was so bad I couldn't even enjoy it ironically.

- Despite what he did with the 02 kids, Alphamon barely appears in the movie (!?!). He only shows up for the final battle nearly the end. Plot device to get rid of 02 kids? Yeah.

- The blogger praised the new evolution scene but said the animation 3D/CGi was a bit too much.

- The blogger defined the evolution for Mega level were "too easy". What I understand is that it seems like they've reached those levels without much sweat. Don't see issue there, personally, but here it is.

- Do you know the typical japanese trope of calling out your attacks? It seems the Omnimon/Alphamon fight didn't have any. It was only bgm and nearly no lines.

- He felt bad for Tailmon/Gatomon because she didn't have the chance to evolve.

- Joe barely appeared. He constantly played the excuse "i have test. must study".

- The blogger said Tai became a bit unsure of what he wants to do of his life. And he seems to be avoiding to confront digimon. Doesn't act as "leadery" as he used to.

- TK and Kari seemed to have gotten the most growth. Kari seems less childish and is more responsable. TK was defined more responsable and is kinda being the producer of Matt's band. The blogger has said TK look more like a producer than a high school student lol

- TK and Kari still have the D-3. No armor digivolution or mention of it but we'll expected that.

- Not really important, but Tailmon is with her tail ring.

Davis never bothered me as much and I felt Veemon had a bit more personality than Agumon (not that slicing Machinedramon wasn't fucking awesome) so I liked him.

I couldn't stand Yolei but Hawkmon and his English dub voice made him pretty likable. Same can be said for Armadillomon and as for Cody he was always just there.

Wormmon and Ken were great primarily because of how the Digital Emporer arc ended.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's material out there where they reunite with their partners. Either way, Tamers doesn't need a second season. It was a kickass show and seeing how Adventure 2 went, I think it'd be better if they instead went the route Digimon Tri's going for in the future. Maybe for the 25th anniversary of Tamers or something.

Guilmon was a baby digimon who got rocketed to rookie level due to takato being his partner.

He even learns to speak better and by the end of the series is pretty much speaking full sentences like the rest of them

To be fair the digivices always pulled a lot of bullshit to help them win boss fights.

They all powered up Angemon so he could One Punch Devimon
They turned into whips that held VenomVamdemon in place so that WarGreymon could soccer kick a building into his gut.

Creating a box of light to work as a forcefield to contain a universe destroying explosion is just another part in the line.
And at least they used some strategy in that fight for once. Zudomon and Lilymon focused on destroying his tentacles so he couldn't attack them or force them to devolve.
HolyAngemon and Angewomon were protecting them and keeping any tentacles they missed off them.
Garudamon and AtlurKabuterimon blocked any attacks he did manage to get off from hitting any targets.
All allowing WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to save their energy and enough time to focus their attacks on his body

It sort of did, but since Pokemon was bigger it was overshadowed.
Pokemon was on handheld and KidsWB, Digimon was console games(and the tamagotchi) and Fox Kids. It also doesn't help that, in NA, Pokemon pretty much came first and was tied to Nintendo which was already pretty big. So everyone had a Pokemon game, and if they didn't, their friend or classmate did.
Then while Pokemon stuck to one channel, Digimon started moving around.

Who was your favourite Adventure villain?

When I was a kid and only watched the swedish dub, Etemon was the clear favorite.

He was both funny and scary back then, and his voice actor was the guy who sung the swedish version of the intro. He also voiced Tentomon and the rest of his line.

My favorite in the english version is easily Myotismon. Like the story more now that I'm older, and Epcar is music to my ears.

Four teams of how many characters? Why not just one team of five or six?
One thing I'd like to see is a FunBeemon who is a girl and partnered to a girl, with the standard evolution line to TigerVespamon.
It's rare to see a female partner digimon who doesn't evolve into a waifumon at some point, and bees are girl bugs to me.
