a high density of shitposts in a single thread that is always up at every hour is THE key problem as far as general go
it's why /vg/ moderation is way more lax, the generals tend to automoderate slightly and are mostly their own world, without much direct interaction between threads of the same board.
The same isn't true for /co/, there's a lot of overlap and the topic is somewhat relevant to the board as a whole, it is not just a parking lot for your videogame lounge roulotte.
